The data centre operator provides power, cooling, network connectivity and physical building security. Physical access to the hardware is limited to the system administrator and a small number of named authorised persons. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place. The processing of website data is carried out solely by the controller named above.
Server log data
When the website is accessed, your browser automatically transmits information: IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, trouble-free operation). Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest.
Fonts
The site uses your operating system’s fonts. No connection is made to third-party servers (no Google Fonts CDN).
Local storage (no cookie)
If you manually choose the light or dark appearance, that choice is stored only in your browser (localStorage) and is not transmitted to us.
Contact form
If you contact us via the form or by email, we process the details you provide (name, email address, message) to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) and (f) GDPR. The form runs on the “Fluent Forms” plugin; the data is stored in our WordPress database on the same server. We delete enquiries once they are no longer needed and no statutory retention periods apply.
Analytics
We currently use no analytics or tracking services. Should this change, this notice will be updated beforehand.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
