A photo competition has many dates: the call for entries, a reminder, the submission deadline, the voting window, the results. In JAFO you enter just one of them – the evening of the image review. The plugin works out all the others from it, using defaults you set once per club.

If a competition needs a different rhythm, you switch the automation off for that brief and set the dates by hand. As you type the date, you see the computed deadlines shift straight away.

There is now a dedicated site for the JAFO plugin at jafo.de. JAFO organises photo competitions in a club: set briefs, submit photos by web or email, have them scored by members and a jury, evaluate, and discuss them at the club night. Across the season this becomes the annual ranking automatically.
